  • The visitor creates a "personal" OLIVE TOUR inside the traditional olive oil mill, as well as in the olive groves of the estate, with the olive culture being revealed through an interactive game. In the unique location of the estate, Cretan hospitality dominates having a direct interaction with the culture of the island... -The tour begins at the traditional olive mill facilities, where the visitor learns about the timeless value of the millstone as well as the history behind the cold pressing method. In the olive grove open for visitors, one can discover all the secrets of the correct practices of cultivation. After the end of the olive tour, the visitor participates in a tasting of olive oil which is produced in the traditional olive mill and has the chance to try local products of the Cretan land.

Eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, alles über Olivenöl zu erfahren. Während der Erntesaison kann man hier den Produktionsprozess miterleben und alles über die klassische Herstellung von Olivenöl mit allen Sinnen lernen. Der Inhaber ist hochmotiviert und erklärt mit wahrer Begeisterung seine Idee, die traditionelle Herstellung von Olivenöl mit 1.700 kg schweren Mühlsteinen fortzuführen. Es hat unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht, das Olivenöl selbst ist zudem vergleichsweise günstig vor Ort zu erwerben (1 l für zwölf Euro)

Tradycyjny młyn oliwny z kamiennymi żarnami. Bardzo sympatyczny zaangażowany właściciel Michaelis poświęcił nam dużo czasu pomimo iż przyjechaliśmy bez zapowiedzi czy rezerwacji. Około godziny 19 tuż przed zamknięciem zorganizował poczęstunek i zwiedzanie. Opowiedział o procesie produkcji oliwy i zdradził ciekawe szczegóły techniczne i ekonomiczne. Widać że ta firma stała się jego pasją. Oczywiscie na miejscu mozna kupic lokalne wyroby: oliwe, mydlo oliwne, miod i raki. Polecamy i pozdrawiamy

Found this place on the internet and went there - two families with kids - on a whim during our holiday in Keras. We were warmly welcomed and had an absolutely wonderful time. We toured the beautifully restored machinery (including Alfa Laval-separators(!)), learned a lot about the details of the extraction process and got to taste the amazing finished product. All through lively and super-knowledgeable commentary from Michalis, the engine of the place.
